Nissan GT-R Nurburgring Rapid Response Vehicle

Imagine this – you’re storming around the ‘Ring and unfortunately somewhere around your hot lap, you get into an accident that requires an emergency response. An ambulance would just take too long to reach you on the circuit so what car would you trust to get to you quickest? What better car than the one that already is among the quickest around the worlds most demanding circuit – the Nissan GTR. It is the one car that can come quickly come to your aid, considering it already “knows this fabled track like the inside of its cylinder bores”.

The GT-R Rapid Response Vehicle is equipped with items like a full roll cage and carbon fiber Recaro racing seats. To serve as a proper emergency vehicle, it comes with a fire retardant tank which is located at the rear passenger area, a functional hose reel and an equipment bay in the boot.

The Nurburgring has claimed many victims therefore an emergency vehicle like this is not just for show, but quite necessary considering the track is over 20km long so getting to the most remote spot can take up to a few minutes. That can prove critical in saving someone’s life. Thank goodness for the GT-R.
