Like the Mercedes Mclaren SLR and plenty others, tuners can never get enough of the Carrera GT. A sign that it’s about time that Porsche creates another hypercar instead of the four-door money-making-mobile they churn out these days? Definately. But nonetheless, this surely one of the meanest looking GT’s out there. Created by Gemballa as a continuation to the Mirage GT Carbon Edition and Mirage GT Gold Edition, meet the Mirage GT Matte Edition (could there be a Mirage GT Chrome Edition? Possibly).
The power figures are the same as the other Mirage GT models – 3.7 second century sprint, 670 horses and the like. In fact, the only difference is the colour; silver accents over the matte black. And the oh-so-ugly blue on blue alcantra interior. So what’s so special about this car? Besides the colour, the pissed off looks, the ugly blue interior, the fact that it’s a Gemballa, and the US$300,000 price tag? Nothing.
