Yeah, we know they look like photo-shop renderings of the Arden Jaguar XF AJ21 but you cant deny that the Jag is a beauty. That mean stance together with the rich playboy aura is a welcome change to decades of ‘”keeping to the Jaguar tradition”.
German tuning firm Arden really has gone and made the already stunning XF all the more stunning, now it makes me want to rob a bank while previously I just wanted to kidnap some rich persons dog for ransom. The new bodykit that includes a nw front bumper with integrated LED day lights, side sills with functional air inlets that work to cool the rear brakes, a rear lid spoiler, and a rear diffuser that houses the new exhaust tailpipes make the shag sorry, Jag very stunningly mean looking.
Arden has also sprinkled its magic dust on the radiator grille that is now enlarged and features a handmade stainless steel mesh. The rims have also received the Arden touch and are now 21-inch alloy wheels. Even the interior is said to have been retouched but Arden has not released any photo-shopped pictures of that, expect real shots soon.
The mechanical improvements that Arden incorporated certainly hit home as far as modern super-saloons are concerned; Arden now offers power upgrades on all four available engines in the XF. The top of the line SV8 model will be powered by a modified version of the XF’s 416hp 4.2 liter superchargedV8 now with displacement increase to 4.5 liters which ultimately results in more than 500hp. That neatly slots it in M5, E55 and RS6 territory, should Jaguar be worried? Don’t think so, sometimes, just sometimes, it’s not about massive horsepower and torque figures, it’s about the entire package, it is after all, a luxury saloon and there is bound to be people that can appreciate that. Tell them people, we like cars that look good too no?
