What is Xounts?
Xounts is sound. Xounts is light. Xounts is design. Xounts is a unique product that blends together all three of these elements. Designer speakers that focus as much on aesthetics as acoustics are growing in popularity. However, the Xounts sound system takes that trend to a whole new level. It’s the first product to combine 360° stereo sound with atmospheric lighting into an interior design object you can tailor to your individual taste.
Acting as a remote speaker unit, the system works with almost any analog or digital sound source: your TV, PC, hi-fi system, MP3 player or even your cell phone. The Basic model has a standard jack connector, the Wireless version offers greater freedom and comes complete with a transmitter to plug into the sound source.
Xounts created the design are developing and manufacturing all the units. It delivers perfect 2.1 stereo sound thanks to a D&M PSS sub-woofer in the base and two NXT flat-panel based drivers attached to the housing. The NXT based drivers turn the entire housing into a membrane, providing a full stereo effect in all directions and in any room.
