As for installing OEM HID on cars that was bought without HID, it is still illegal. However, for example... if you had a Skyline R34 GTT (w/o Xenon), you can still install HID as the R34 GTR has stock Xenon HID. So you can prolly getaway in this case, but for older cars... sure kena.

Some Harriers or Camry are also sold with HID, but some are not. Anyways, these are luxury cars and "they" usually won't kacau these users. Only poor ppl like us kena! bah!
