[QUOTE="DDgreystar, post: 2115214, member: 5158"] SULKYB, Fender gap a bit too much ? how wide is wide ? have u estimated the abnormal gap length ? if its anything within 2-5mm i think its pretty much acceptable, nontheless, mitsu cars r well known for their inconsistency when it comes to assembly, even toyota has it; as long as it is NOT TOO WAY OFF as compared to others, I guess its pretty much acceptable. Saying so, I have yet to view the car, thus hereby I have said is very much with benefit of doubt rendered. Idling vibration, is this VIOLENT, do u feel shaky ? or have u stand aside n observe and watch how violent is the idling ? My 1st guess goes to mounting, however, there r 4 mountings which maybe a bit hard for u to VERIFY all in 1 go unless at a workshop. Apart from engine mounting, timing could be another guess, dirty thorttle body, weak spark plugs, insufficient electricity, wiring ??? however since u r with STOCK ECU, all should be well. In summary, from your feedback, I would say, on paper, 70% bodes pretty well (this is solely based on what u have feedback according, as I have NOT SEEN nor tested the car personally). The rest is a thorough check by a mechanic or a evo owner who knows the car well. p/s: Sometimes, we may own the car, but not necessarily know it by heart.
