Anyway, I will wrap up wires with a water resistant loom, maybe fit the wire labels ( maybe laminated? ), since I intend to use just one single colour.Or, is it safer for me to just buy a spare B16A OBD1 harness, and mod THAT instead? But is it still possible for me to use those nifty waterproof Molex connectors, when I'm re-using OEM harness? Now after re-reading your reply, it seems like it is much safer for me to just re-use and mod one ori engine bay wire loom instead.If I choose this route, which wires should I buy? AWG 18 or 20, or 22? I understand that it's safer to weld up higher rated wires to be on the safe side, rather than welding up lower rated wires ( lower than the current wire's AWG rating ). Now I do not know what's the AWG rating for B16A OBD1 wire, is the whole hog of wires is of the same AWG, or do they have diff ratings?Looks like when the funds is green to go, I should buy a set of wire crimpers and plenty of wires to practise 1st! :regular_smile:</blockquote>
