to aid in maintaining oil temperature. that's all.

by doing that, engine temperature (or gearbox in similar case) in general is easier to maintain.
 
yup..adding an oil cooler maintains ur oil temp..also it'll add up a lil bit of power..kot..not so sure

i think its true. becoz energy is not wasted as heat. he he

profile is how u define the height of a tyre's sidewall.

for example, 175/70 R13 means the tyre has a 70% aspect ratio to the tyre width which is 175mm.

if the tyre states 175/60 R13 then it means it has a lower profile and thus its called low profile tyres.

low profile means the tyre sidewalls are narrower so the rim appear to be closer to the road surface
 
If you're not careful its easier to bend your rims when you hit potholes. Other than looking good, lower sidewall means stiffer sidewall means less flex on heavy corner g-forces. I think this should mean better handling on high speed turns.
