yup..previous standard piston 74mm+hi cam compression is 12.5..now 76.5mm+ hicam..
allready test after rebuild my engine.what u mean running pump gas..my foremen also make compression test to engine 4g91 with convertion..the result is 15.5..
 
yeah i also wonder whether compression 14.5 can run on RON97? no pinging? or you using vpower all the time?
 
v power..coz seldom use..sometime 3 or 4x on the road in month..kalo hari2 on the road mampos aku.heheh
 
vpower also ron 97 with addictive onli, nthg special...
 
Your cams must have very very high duration/lift/both but i doubt even then RON97 is enuf to run 14.5 in M'sian weather. Maybe your foreman calculated wrongly or i'm plain wrong myself. Good to know if there is a secret to this high compression running on RON97..
 
my friend running 77mm piston with this g13b block.. nothing possible, with good engine management, its can run smoothly
