Skyline Trackday

Sorry for the late reply,

Johhnyblaze.

Since this club started in 2004, i have initiated several times on going to sepang circuit but unfortunately not many are interested.

i hope in 2009 with new members - things will change.

I have taken my car to sepang several time but never with any skyline members.
I will be great fun to have all the skyline boys together and have a good time in sepang.

im all good to organize it. if we get 10 skyline boys it will be good enough.

supremus,

OLD ginger...not so old la..haha..passed by your shop the other day, shall stop by next time.

Nonetheless, i do have a private session open for you guys. Its abit pricey but i thought its definitely worth it. A Singaporean friend of mine, also an event organizer for the S'pore cars to Sepang almost 8 times every year.
I've joined them 3 times and this is going to be my 4th. A bunch of decent guys who obey rules!!

RM450 + RM50 Time Transponder unit. 11th May, 9am-12pm. Max 50 participants.

I'll be there with my 34. Anyone wants to join, drop me email @

[email protected]

its gonna be fun...

been waiting for this long time. Why not we start listing down names who's interested. I reckon is not hard at all to have 30 Skylines. I'll go first:

1) Tony5050-GTR34
2) Aibon -GTS32
3) Eddy -GTR34
4)
5)

count me in

i can probably get a bunch of GT-R's...only problem would be the date...a lot of time our schedules clash

so it would be much better if there was an exact and firm date.

hi guys, i've been to the kg gajah track before not to compete but to shoot a drift event previously. although the tarmac conditions are ok, the run off areas are not. the run-of areas are mostly grass and is not level with the track because the track is actually higher than the run-off areas (expect about 3-4 feet height difference at certain sections of the track). there are also trees in the run off area so if you make a mistake, you might wrap your car around a tree as the grass simply doesn't allow you to brake in time.

it also a 2 hour drive from kl (i drive sentra so veli slow... lol) and access to the place is through a narrow wooden bridge. parking is limited and so is the space to setup canopy for a temp garage/work area. the track should be fine for smaller cars but can be quite unforgiving for bigger and wider cars.

during the drift event, i saw many front and rear bumpers pecah due to the uneven run-off areas. 1 guy's steering koyak because of the uneven run-off areas also (something broke underneath). hope this info helps.

my friend went to kg gajah track in his GT-R...he said it wasn't as fun because you don't get to open up the GT-R's horsepowah... besides he said the track is kinda narrow

i think sepang would be more logical since there would be GT-R's in the mix

Anyone on for 11th May morning private session. I'll be going. Let me know. Cheers.:driver:
