Satria Gti 1999 - 2001

Hi guys,

I am planning to get a Gti, since my budget is restricted, I would probably get a GTi within year 1999-2001 (RM 32k-38k based on the advertisement,). I've been told one of the batch model, it came with Siemens Ecu (not too sure abt the name).. Does it really make a different?

Which year model is better? :Not_Impressed:

1999 - mid 2001 its with MMC Ecu. Later batch would be Siemens ECU. The different, urm, in siemens, any mods u done, the ecu will revert back to its original setting. Just get a mint condition GTi and drive it la bro, remember to install all the security device such as alarm and immobilizer aite. Happy hunting =)

ya, been to car yards few times, hardly to get a mint condition one.

Thus, in terms of power output, does the MMC ecu model quicker/better FC than Siemens ecu model? The MMC ecu has a " Check Engine " light isnt?
