Installing the new turbo and Intercooler piping but need to rotate the compressor housing prior to clearance issue,is it easy?

How to do it ?

FYI,the turbo have Internal Wastegate so the actuator still attached to the housing ...

Any info will be great, thanks =)

It's a IHI RHF 4 VF14 turbo,fitted on a L9 Turbo "EF-DET" ...

My turbo is identical to this one...

One this i noticed is,the compressor housing of this turbo is different from normal turbo "TD05/Garett AR48/60/80" i play with before, all these turbo have the compressor housing casted with the bearing body .... but for this IHI RHF 4 VF14,the compressor housing is separated from the bearing body,so can i just remove all the allen/hex bolt then rotate the housing and fit it back, will the bolt be same pattern? Anyone came across this kind of turbo pls advice =)

Umm,i think this is normal Journal bearing turbine, cause stock car won't have ball bearing turbine fitted aren't they =? .... taken out from Subaru Legacy B4 =)

yup...no problem....

just make sure the oil/water inlet-outlet arranged accordingly...(inlet above, outlet below)

:adore:

and probably u need to fabricate custom wastegate actuator holder plate to suits new its new location...

u can always rotate the turbine to suit ur piping/setup, no problem

But i just found new way to not disturb the water/oil inlet/outlet ... but i doesn't know if it work ...

Refer to my last post for the picture ~

The compressor housing is secured by 5 allen/hex bolt , 1 of them are longer so when it tighten, the wastegate actuator bracket just slip over and tighten with a 10mm nut ...

So can i just remove this all 5 Allen/Hex bolt, remove the compressor housing and turn it to the degree i want and fit it back, will the bolt align with the hole ?

Thanks for any info =)
