Review for Unichip V3 Series.
Project car: D-Vision G200 Espri Detomaso.
Owner: Eddie Deto.
Test Driver: Ah-Long, Eddie Deto, Zam Pizzahut.
Technichian: Ah-Choo (VIS Autolabs).
The chip: Unichip V3-R
Price: RM2300 (plus wiring, setting and 2 dynotest).
What did we got from purchasing an Unichip V3-R?? Its a piggyback unit that so small (a size of Malboro 20'), we didn't realize how BIG its function is. Nearly it has a same function as Haltech/MOTEC:
1) MIVEC/VTEC/DVVT/I-VTEC/VVT-I Controller.
2) Anti lag system.
3) Fuel management control.
4) NOS Controller
5) Fuel injector controller.
6) Turbo Module
7) Launch Control system...mashyuk!
and many more...
Test Area/Time:
Permas Jaya Industrial Area, near VIS AutoLabs.(2 days before Chinese New Year).

"Pikap dia best...lebih2 lagi pakai launch control system. Tapi tyre spin gila khinzir..lebih bagus kalo pakai LSD Gearbox dan rim besar..."

"Aiyah! Wa first time loh pasang sama ini ECU Deto...kapla picahhh loh!!"
The engine is just stock 1.6 Daihatsu HD-E (Detomaso), with stock air filter, head and block.
Horsepower increased by 30++bhp.
Stock ECU: 92bhp (1st dynotest)
After installed Unichip V3-R: 126++bhp. (2nd dynotest)

so...
126bhp=170hp+1350kg........170hp! and 126bhp on a wheel.....!Make sense or not?
Plant to try it but not have enoug $$$$ and prove!Do some of us try it?
