problem with my 245 mr2...

every things seems fine until i got misfiring problem ever since i got the car... at first just need to touch up the tunes but after awhile every thing went wrong.. check everything (wiring, sensor, pipes, plugs and etc) no problem but suspecting ecu..

so anybody got spare 245 ecu please do let me know...

Wah spare 245 ECU is hard to come by. Chk for error codes in your diagnostic port and see if there is anything wrong. I'm not too sure how to do it but some ppl here know how, lets wait for their replies.

Chk plug cable also, i had the same issue of misfiring on high RPM but later found out that it was the plug cable.

hard to get 245 ecu.....i still owe fren 1pc.......i'm going to borrow stock ecu from fren to test on my car too......above 5k+rpm check eng light blinking......tuner told me coz hav not tune the power fc is like that but i wanna make sure things 1st too

yea... car running so unstable sometimes.. i did ask a friend from Sydney to find one for me and send it here cause i search high and low around kl and johor still no sight of the 245 standard ecu..

Hi bros, 1 good leson learnt........replace all the electrolytic capacitors in your ecu. Did mine and things seems to run better and smoothly, reduce failure.
