ECU reverting back to normal after sometime??

Want to ask for your advice. I heard from someone that a piggyback ECU would revert back to it's original settings after 30k to 40k thus resulting in a loss of power and the person...

Can i change from BOV to CBV?

My car is from NA to turbo.

Was installed with BOV.
