Mercedes-Benz released images and details of the next-generation S-Class on Monday. Two of the engines available at launch this fall will be a new 382-hp V8 in the S500 and a V12 producing 512 hp in the S600. The S-Class will also be available with the world’s first 7-speed automatic transmission

WOW! new S must be very good. We all know the present S already very good, it raises the bar higher. Don't know how they can improve it. And just like BMW 7, it has no gear lever. he he weird.

but rear end looks ugly with the rear fender upper curves.. yulks!

I dont think theres any on any road yet except for testing and etc.

Is it even officially for sale yet?

damn cool lar... h i wish to hv 1 for my x'mas present...

but i still think the present s-class(W220) looks good n sporty than the new one....

just opinion

the latest top gear episode reviewed the s-class in the news section.. they say it has some kinda sensors that will know when u will have an accidents... therefore, it will apply the emergency brakes before u could do it...
that's something new... if so, accidents will not happen in the future.. :D

tha tis the presafe function in the mercedes .
no way it is on the road . it is still waiting list until this august or 3 months after the launch only the sales start .

Oh like this eh, if Merc no one want to kutuk eh, if other brand all want to say copy this copy that, all want to kutuk.

:)

Anything that you want to kutuk, you're free to do it. Public forum ma

S Class was pioneer at almost everything important parts that you can see in all other cars today like ABS and airbags.. etc.. and now.. InfraRED headlights.. I wonder how it will looks like. Only the driver can see it, so there won't be ppl complaining about HID glare.

p/s - I haven't come across anything that says merc is copying 'something' from others coz usually they will be the first to do/create it

Infrared headlights !
since its infrared lights, we cant see the lights... all images will be displayed on he screen... so might as well seal the whole windscreen... no need to see the road, can depend on the monitor enough adi...
