i always got itchy hand wana touch this and that

earlier just now..
i remove my distributor caop and sprayed WD-40 on it....
then i put it back together...the car is not starting already....

cis..i aldo dunno what happen

car is corolla 1.3

hmm..from what i see it's alingn...

i remove the cap..i look at teh contact point also got spark...i see the things also turning....

but then....also cannot start

try open the cap, take out all the wires and jolok the metal contact thingy towards inside of the cap.

try sajaa..hehe

Why would u want to use WD40 inside the distributor cap? Anyway u must have messed up the firing order. There should be number 1 - 4 on the cap. Just put back the cables in corresponding order.

well....i had to much oil in the distributer thus cannot spark properly...

clean it with tissue everything okay edi
hahahah

advise
*don;t play with your distributor

muahahahahaha got toyota edi still wanna play this and that...go toyota thread lar...many sif00 there

I think you must have covered the "Pak Kam"(contact point) with WD40.

To service the distributor cap, you merely use a brush to wipe of the dust from the contact point and sand paper lightly on the contact point for better corona discharge.

is it applicable for all cars?
my dad's volvo 850, seems to be choking ~4k rpm onwards.
while standin still on D , there is a slight jerk everynow and then.

The foreman says it's the contact point problem, and should change it.

Yes. It could be damaged or worn contact point.
