Just installed MSN7.0.
Big time screw up!
Once sign in, the MSN in hang mode.
Goash! Now hv to set back with 4.7 for time being.

Wondering anyone still holding 7.0 Beta installation as I have been using it for a while and perfectly fine.

Do PM me if you still holding the setup file then I can reinstall with beta version. sob sob ...

manage to find 6.2 installation file.
Settle with 6.2 for time being ....

Anyone else have problem with 7 ?

Mine works without a problem.

Maybe the problem lies within your system, and not the program itself?

yeah, it sucks big time....sometime when sending message it fail to receive on the other side... what to expect le dude, its still in beta testing...
Until now MSN 6.2 is the stable one...

A solution?

Do not click Sign In on MSN Messenger itself. Just right click on the icon and select Sign In. Works for me.

now new msn.. 7.0.0777 ok ah... last time 7.0 beta i also having prob canot send msg.. now so far so good!

The full 7.0 version is out few days back. Ok I had no problem whatsoever with it except it automatically blocks the sending of mp3. My other friends doesn't. Anyone got the same problem?! I can send out mp3s and other files. Can receive any other type of files, just mp3 cannot. Friend said firewall but I didn't enable any firewall in windows or install any firewall programs.

The msg i got is
(nick) has attempt to send u (mp3 name) but it has been block because is potentially unsafe.

All these is done automatically! No prompt, no window. Anyone has any solution to it? <_<

Yea I'm on the same boat as you! can't send mp3s. my friends are facing the same problem as well, seems like it has nothing to do with firewalls and stuff.

Found a few solutions.
