New member reporting in. i just manage to get my car last night out of the workshop and here are some of my car details

Car : Wira A/B
Engine : 1.6 Mivec Auto
RIM : 14" Triangle Type
Interior : all stock standard except for mivec dashboard
Bodykit : stock standard
Location : Subang Jaya

Basically i need some help from the Tok Guru here:_: , Not familiar with new engine n stuff, need advise

1. When i on the Digital aircon there is this "Tak tak tak..." sound for few minute, is it normal? Because my makanic said its very normal wor. Is not from the engine happened only when aircon is on.

2. Is it normal for the aircon to reset each time when i off the Aircon? (ie. lets say i put the blower/fan lever to 2 then i off the aircon and on again it will go to 4 for the blower/fan again.)

3. How many time did you guys need to go in order to pass JPJ inspection? because my runner fail the 1st inspection, they stated there "Brake tak Makan" Very strange is that my car was original 1.6 so it comes with 4 disk brake, i mean do i need to upgrade the original disk brake which i am using now?

4. Is there a dimmer light knob (for tuning the light on the meter)on the mivec dashboard? Because last time my wira dashboard has it!

5. After the conversion how you guy dispose of your old engine, sell to work shop or give it free? Mine old engine was a 1.6 Soch convert to 4G91 Dohc head engine, how/what should i sell it as a loose part or as a whole engine? which is better?

Guy i selling off my car sooner later ... getting my perdana lor ......

About gathering ... Sypderslr .. u just organize it lar ... i cant always online to check .... so just let me know where the venue and time .. .if i free sure i come .....

hei i need all mivec fren help...my crankshaft gone alreay...where can i get mivec crankshaft terbalik one (gen2 mivec) ... second hand or custome made? i went nearly 20 shops cannot get at all....pls help ..thanx PM me pls

sure cannot lah u take gen 2 air filter reverse put in gen 1 see can anot...

U take gen2 Camshaft terbalik then put into gen1 cam

weii ken, i'm saying tat based on the same method they used a 4G94 crank into our 4G9* block......they reversed it as well wat.........crank is circular anyway, doesnt really matter which direction it rotates.....unless of coz, mounting points r totally different then cannot ler......anyway, let Henry answer tat if he's free to read this....hehehe.....

u'uh kenny.. im going back on early april .. or end march.. will u organize a tt when im in town dude? i want to know mivec all the mivec kaki also.. ermm btw.. pdguy.. im staying in seremban.. :) may be we can go and have tea together .. and gimme some advice on mivec.. im a newbie.. ive been cheated by the mechanic who do the transplant for me. u'uh btw.. if you come accross this workshop "andika Motorsport" in Jalan Klang lama.. dont you ever go and fix ur car over there .. he's a big liar ..
