The mechanical ABS practically install at the outlet of master brake pump. It function as when u depress the brake pedal the hydrolic fluid pressure will be controlled by the mechanical valve in the device which will not allow too much pressure causing the wheel to be jammed.
I believe it can be install in saga blm but is better to check with your mechanic. This device is found in some of the honda civic back in 96/97.
