Hi all,
getting a 2004 1.7 civic soon.
Looking for a set of rims.
any1 can tell me wats the max size/offset the civic can fit??

Im currently looking at:
front: 18 x 8.5jj offset 33
rear: 18 x 9.5jj offset 33

can fit ar??

thanks bro~!!

imho, i think 18'' is abit too big a rim for civic 1.7. Usually, honda drivers would only go up to biggest of probably 16'' rims to avoid huge drop in hp.

petrol's gettin more n more expensive.. some times.. i would think d best way, tat's to fit a smaller rims on my car.. save much!!!

offset not sure what will work, depending on how you did the fenders, but 18s will fit, but you have to remove the fender liner and make room near the wheel wells to avoid too much scrubbing when turning at full lock. might even have to fold the fender lips a bit.

No need to mention the negatives, there's quite a lot, but I'm thinking this guy wants 18' for show purposes only. (O_o)

i am only using 15 but petrol consumption is still killing me !

I believe it's his choice to put 18" rims. He just wants to ask and see if someone could help him out on the offsets, etc.

yup.. his choice.. I'm still not sure about the offsets though... kinda depends if he folds the fender lip side or not.
