Plant crops like wheat, barley, soy, etc to make bio-diesel and bio-petrol. But doing so resulted in the wide-spread destruction of the amazon rain-forest. The whole point of moving away from fossil fuels is to reduce our CARBON FOOT-PRINT. Do you have any idea how much carbon was stored in the Amazon? Buy clearing (burning) that forest, we just added to the problem.</p><p></p><p>Yes, moving to hydrogen is a good idea ultimately.
