can anyone kindly tell me sumting about hydraulic handbrakes?

is it suitable for everyday usage?

is it simple to be installed? expensive?

is it useful?

not suitable to be use everyday
coz u cannot hold hydraulic pressure for long period of time (handbrake on for few days) without facing reliability issue later

not easy to install
u need brake pump, pipings for hydraulic systems, bleeding system, etc

not cheap
a nice looking hydraulic handbrake handle+pump will cost u near 1k... that does not include necessary pipings and workmanship...

yes useful
locks up easily as hydraulic can transfer far greater pressure compare to cabled handbrake... very useful for drift and auto-cross event...

some to add, if I may, greater & consistent pressure compared to a cable that stretches...
