what have you check on the RCA n power cable?

calvin,
i;ve check if the RCA is crossing the power cable, the connection of the RCA to the inputs.

old skoolrocker,
Kenwood 2023, corolla
btw, i suspect it is the amp also

Try to bypass the crossover first, then try again. Don't get mad on the following statement. Is your crossover cap ayam? Or the price is around rm100-200? If yes, then you can throw it already. Normally a cheap crossover will give you such problem as last time I also have this problem. Is your HU have 2 pre-out? If got then al your problem can be settle. 1 for your component and 1 for your sub. If not then try to sell the crossover and buy a pre-amp. It will eliminate your krek krek sound but airplane sound is 50/50, unless you buy a good pre-amp.

me crossover is stellar ones

btw, only my subs is linked to the xover

and my components input is linked to the amp..

sighs...i'l bring it to acc.. shop and ask for sum advise,

if i get it sorted out..i'll be back to tell you all...

Try to adjust the gain setting from ur amp. Try to lower it if it's too high... My fren wan also like urs last time. Then after lowered the gain setting from the amp, the fei kei sound gone oredi.. .. ..

If you really have time and love to take a challange, go to bcae1.com. On the right column, find a topic about troubleshooting audio. There you can find things that you can do to further find out or fix the problem. Hope this helps.

i have a question.
Why do you connect your sub to the xover?

because the one of teh channel(HPF) is broken..

so i have to move my front component to channel 3/4(LPF/HPF) while my sub will run in my CHanel2(HPF/Full)..i connect the sub because i want to low pass it...

sighs..all money problem...no money to repair this and that...hahahha

btw, it;s sorted out already..the HU RCA output is giving me all the hissing and piiiiiiii~

i had the same problem last time.. its the amp problem after checking with my installer.. now after i install a grounding kit at the engine bay, the fei kei sound is no longer heard but i still have problem with pressing my horn cos it'll have some sound on my tweeter when i horn.. lol.. can try get a grounding kit...
