Gear Box 4g93P

Guys, my Putra's 5th gear is falling to neutral by itself...
I have changed the fluids but still the same.

Heard that 5th gear synchro is gone...

Can it be repaired ?

Anybody with a solution / advise ?

well yours is 5th gear, at least its cheaper and easier to fix
mine is 3rd, mech says better off with getting a used gb :(

in fact, the proton/mitsu gb are very notorious & sensitive if not treated properly :P
take good care of it especially the transmission fluid..... avoid GL5 synthetic oil ;)
