Do not have any plans for the weekends? Then head on down to the new wing of 1 Utama Shopping Centre this 25-29 April and get up close with Ford’s latest line-up of vehicles at the Ford roadshow.
The Fiesta, Focus and the soon-to-be-launched Ford Ranger T6 will be making an appearance, although it should be mentioned that both the T6 in display are Australian-spec models, so expect the Malaysian-spec units to be a bit different. The T6 offered by Ford’s local distributor, Sime Darby Auto Connexion will come in three variants, 2.2 XLT M/T, 2.2 XLT A/T and 3.2 Wildtrak A/T.
The Mondeo and S-Max should also not be overlooked. With both the vehicles powered by the uprated 2.0l EcoBoost T5 engine, the output has increased from 200hp to 237hp. Additional options are also available for those models, but the price has yet to be announced for the time being.
Visitors could also get into some fun and games at the roadshow, like trying out the Ford Ranger Simulator which offers tough challenges in showing the Ranger’s capabilities and power. One could try arm-wrestling to find out how much torque one could generate, or even finding out how much weight one could pull by strapping up to a towing cable.
