Hello fellow Z owners
I just had my rims changed and from the past couple of weeks it is a nightmare to find rims that fit without hitting the brakes.
After i found one that cleared the brakes, there is an extra sixth nut that is stopping the rims from going in. That extra stud is bronze in color. The guys in the shop were telling me that it is perfectly fine to remove that extra stud and he claimed that he has done it to alot of skylines, all without complain. Now i am driving around without that nut. Is that nut crucial and is it safe to remove it? I am worried that those guys would say anything just to close the deal. Any info is very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

  • Firstly:
  1. Bring an Evo to your favourite bodyshop,
  2. It doesn't matter if it's an Evo 8 or Evo 9
  3. Print out the latest Evo X development pictures,
  4. Let the boys at the bodyshop do their magic.
