Del Sol's Roof

Hi,

My del sol's roof retracting mechanism has problems. When retracting into the boot, it will stop moving. Then I have to keep tapping the button for it to move in...inch by inch(could be the motor or the electrical problem...not sure)

anyone knows anywhere that knows how to fix this? I hope it doesn't cost a lot, else I have to leave it as it is...can't open anymore...sigh :( any half cut shops that has the rear portion of this car?

Delso front half-cut also got, but rear cut for it I never jumpa .... :(

sigh...means have to start a search all around klang valley...

any idea of any shops that specializes in repairing this?

the rear is too dam heavy to bring in so majority of the half cut wun wan too.....

i think a brand new mechanism is going make you nose bleed...@_@"

My mech back in my hometown can fix sunroof problem ( he did BMW, Merc mostly ) coz he got the proper manual :D :D . Change worn out items/rubber/latch , then it should be as good as new.
So,, try to find mech that knows what he's doing & not experimenting with your roof. The mech must be a very patient as well coz it's a blardy tedious job.

I know where got DelSol rear end.

better u search for a rubber/silicon liquid repair 1st..

it repair the rubber inside ur sunroof..

if can't repair, find urself a good mechanic to help

last time i buy it at 'the store'

i think also can find at giant, tesco, carrefour, etc..

i have a window problem just like u.. used that product & it's gone..(sorry, cant remember the brand name)
