A few months back, my father's car was broke in by some guy..My father left his briefcase which fortunately only contained some documents & house keys..No laptop or other valuable things..I guess the thief might have thought that there were lots of valuables in there..

So my advise to all, please don't display valuables in your car..We'll never know what will happen to our properties nowadays..Thieves have so many tactics to try & steal..These days we'll never know which is genuine & which is not anymore eg. emergencies on highways..

A thief can break your window for loose change in the car..what more a briefcase..
anyways, if your house keys are in there, i suggest you change your house locks as well..as at least the main one.. your father might have your address somewhere in his briefcase , since there are documents...well, you'll never know....

thanx for the advice, and i like to add abit, if u are bringing valuables in the car, try to hide it under the seat or other place that people cannot see. Also can hide it in the trunk, nobody will ever see anything. If a thief saw your car is empty n no valuables inside, they will just go away without trying to break in your precious car. Even if it is a briefcase or a bag, just hide it. They think that u may have valuables inside it. So be very careful everybody. =)
