Cams Questions

Hi all,

Not sure if this was asked previously. Can I use an intake cam as an exhaust cam i.e. running 2 intake cams in a 3sge?

I read from this page (http://www.alltrac.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14440) tht this can be done.

I am looking at having the in from 3rd gen 3sge, spec: In: 252deg, 9.8mm lift (timing 7/65) run the in from an auto 3rd gen 3sge for ex, spec: In: 240deg, 8.7mm lift (timing 7/53).

Anyone tried this before?

Yes there is already a MR2 with this set up. After the tune ask the owner - LA53OKD

But i'm sure you need management and a cam pully for it to work out

Hi,

I asked around. some said it can be done but some said it cant. The reason that it cannot be done is because of the intake cam's is different (slightly longer?). Would anyone have any pic that shows this setup?
