ive heard alpine F1 both with and without processor, frankly i prefer without, i like the naturalness for everyday listening, but for competition really need the procesor. too bad new F1 cant run without processor :thumpdown

I mean when using pirated Cds the bass will not so solid compare to original one. The higher end Hu will seperate all the trebal, mid and bass correctly, that's the problem come from, because the pirated's bass is not solid already, so the HU will make the unsolid bass more clearler. Last time I test a RF HU with Micheal Jackson's song in a shop, it really can make the song more live compare to my middle range HU. so if want to use high end one, is the best use original CDs. You can always buy a original one and then copy one from PC, then play both of them together with same setting.
