Wife is nagging me to install iPod in her car. I am considering to change hers to a new HU with iPod connection.
FM transmitter is out of the question. The idea is to leave the iPod in the glovebox untouched, and the HU is to charge and control the iPod.
What would be the best HU for Ipod integration? My priorities as follows:
1) Fast integrated connection to iPod. [I am currently using Alpine KCA420i to connect to DVA310e in my car, and navigating is painstakingly slow.]
2) Clear FM reception
Sound quality is not a high priority, as long as it is clear with no noise and interference. Hence, no need high end HU with 3 pre-outs, etc. I wont be putting in any amps or changing her speakers.
Any recommendation?
