Auto to manual

Hi all,

I just want to ask about this topic...

how much the cost to convert auto to manual?
what sholud i buy for the convertion(gearbox,..etc)?

i'm using mazda BG with B5 engine...

anyone can help?

Not sure bout mazda engine, B5 is carb? if it's EFI, then more troublesome.

You will need:
- Gearbox
- Manual pedals

If EFI, you might wanna change ur ECU to manual one also.

Maybe you can try asking NiJ.... his lantis was once auto now manual...

heard from him that you need manual gearbox with shaft and pedal and clutch... something like that.,.. for more info please ask him..

need to check if your original gearbox is using censor type or cable type... then need to buy a gear box to match...

No need to change ur ECU if ure auto converting to manual ,
just make sure that the sensor on the gearbox sensor is compatible
with ure rev n speedmeter, if they are not then u gotta spend
some money there modifying it
all ull need are the full set of manual pedals, gear console shifter
and the cables...... ........ just my 2 cents.

a break down of things...

Gbox
driveshafts
clutch
pedals
center console shifter
linkages....

RM 1500 - 1600..... depends la how much u get the gbox for...
i actually haf all these items... :P
