Alpine F1 review???

Hi,

May I know anyone of you have experience listening to Alpine latest F1 Status product? How is their MRV-F900 amplifier? Are they very good?

How about the DVI-9990 HU?

huge amps (ngam-2 fill up the jazz trunk), very heavy too (15kg), quite underrated (4x100W but more like 150W). great detail and resolution, unlike normal alpine amps. not as dynamic as normal power amps, but thats normal for high end units. excellent amp...

the dvi-9990 HU cant be used on its own, it has to be combined with the PXA-990 processor or the DAI-990 digital to analog converter. either way it will cost 5 figures.

Hi,

I heard Alpine F1 product must be installed by an authorised installer by Alpine. If not, warranty will be void.

Where can I get F1 product in Penang or KL? You mentioned the amps is very big. How big is it? Dimension?

i know KK Lau in PJ and KF Audio in Jln Ipoh/Aman Suria have F1 status stuffs...try ask them...
