KISAH BENAR: I was using Falken Ziex 522, exit ramp from Federal Highway to Old Klang Road beside Mid Valley. Road condition was semi-wet because of drizzling. Was driving around 60kph when entering the bend, right after apex, I floor the pedal and boost kicks in. The car understeered to the left where I counter steer back, it then oversteered and understeered and oversteered again. When I got hold of the car, I've sprained my shoulder because I was steering too fast. Since then, I never fast corner anymore because I lost my balls at that corner.

I also lost confidence of my Airtrek's AWD system.

Falken 912 Thailand made rating A..normal user size...
I thought Japan made are AA...sportier/rarer size..

good grip for the price...but once it wear off,:stupid:, slippery like crazy, especially during wet...
and it wear off quite fast...cheap though..

Last time even Thai made was rated Traction AA, but later batches was changed. The Jap ones probably still traction AA.

Ziex 912 wears off fast?? Should not be since the tread wear rating is pretty high (>400) for durability. Those that wear off faster are those around low 300 or less, and usually categorized as high performance tires. Azenis FK453 should wear off faster.

Even the ones rated 360 traction A wear pretty fast as got many feedback saying so.....
I used the FK452 before and are pretty good....

ZE 522 is really horrible in the wet, many many complaints already.....

They make the pattern quite nice that is why many purchase them. More over budget priced, but then very bad wet handling....

Even my thread has over 70% left, I need to change tires as it's almost to a point that it's not drivable. Steering wobble below speed of 60kph due to uneven tire surface.

I spent on low cost cheap tires. Achilles ATR Sports - 225/45R18 @ RM315 each.

Whoa that's very cheap tires! Is it good enough?? How is it compared to GT Radial?
