BMW Group Malaysia Proudly Hands Over Fleet of 7-Series for Upcoming CIMB Classic 2012 Golf Tournament!

BMW Group Malaysia has provided a fleet of their BMW 7 Series Luxury Limos for the upcoming gentlemen’s sport of golf for the CIMB Classic.

Present at the hand over ceremony was Dr. Gerhard Pils (Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia) who was on hand to proudly present the fleet’s key to Mr. Todd Rhinehart, Executive Director of CIMB Classic, which will be utilised for the shuttling of all players, officials as well as VIPs throughout the tournament here in Malaysia.

The CIMB Classic is the only PGA TOUR-sanctioned event in the region, held at the Mines Resort & Golf Club, Kuala Lumpur from 25th – 28th October 2012 and has played host to some of the best names in the world of professional golf for the third year running.

The CIMB Classic 2012 will feature the 30 players from the PGA TOUR, 10 players from the Asian Tour and 8 sponsors’ exemptions making it an elite field of 48 players who will compete for a rather large prize purse of US$ 6.1 million, with US$1.3 million going to the winner.

Well-known to the sport like Tiger Woods, Jason Dufner as well as returning champions Bo Van Pelt and Ben Crane have already confirmed their participation in this year’s competition.
