Till now the gorgeous Ferrari California has cruelly been restricted to computer enhanced images only, leaving fans all over the world lusting for its final release. Well luckily for all of them German site Autobild managed to obtain a few shots of the California out in the real world, without any computer interference, bringing them as close to the California as possible before the launch.
Ferrari will only reveal the California to the world at the Paris Motor Show in September but has been gradually building a hype by timing the release of details and pictures through a specially dedicated site.
Just in case you were wondering, the California is positioned in at the bottom of the Ferrari portfolio just below the Scaglietti 612 and is powered by a new mid-front positioned 4.3 liter V8 engine that is good for 460hp. The important oily bits of the California include direct fuel injection, a “flat” crankshaft and a brand new seven speed dual clutch transmission system that launches the California from 0-100 in less than four seconds.
