Reason behind his anger, he might be provoke by P plate car. Hence the anger. If so ngam it is a B or W plate, same thing goes also. He vent off his anger here, in words. Anyway, just forget about negative stuff ya. This will never end with the existence of bad habit. Peace!!

Just a precaution, last 3 weeks ago, there is really a mess in the island. One guy got beaten very badly due to accidential knock 3 parking motorbikes. Story in the news too. Take extra caution when raising your speed in tight narrow roads like Penang Island. Accident don't smell.

So how's the outcome? How many HP on wheel? Suddenly did not get news from you already. Really hope that can know what is the outcome of your monster. Can high rev till what RPM?
 
actually i m still facing the timing setting problem.. when i was about to rectify the problem.. my car kena bang by a lesen L motorbike.. damn stupid.. go against the traffic in a one way street.. repairing my car now... after that only can do setting.. but rev all the way to 8200, no prob, but power drop after 7500. may be setting problem.. i will keep u guys updated lah.....

sorry to hear that(the accident)...What ecu you use?May need to remove the rev cut.
Since you balance already,hope you use good main and con rod bearings as well as new con-rod bolts.Presume you mate it to a 6speed gearbox.
If this all done add 288/288 (other people have used 288 with vvt)cams higher duration but SAME lift;use 4-1 exhaust for higher end,lighten flywheel(cannot remember bolt patterns for flywheel between BT and 7AF same or not);maybe change final drive to 4.5 and this should pull 10k revs already.

4AGE using different flywheel ( 8 bolts )
7AFE and 4AFE using the same flywheel ( 6 bolts )
 
WONG...u can find a 6 bolts manual flywheel in 4afe or 5afe.....i oso cant remeber too..but my 20valve last time using 7a bloack and blacktop head,but i can use back my VVT......walao....third gear really can feel very nice the power....

i think the RMP can rev till 9500.....1st gear of my 7a 20valve ever rev till 10000rpm....the power is really nice.....but in the end...my 4 piston ring all broken.....hahaha....

i really respect your courage, rev until 10k, but i got no money, cannot afford to keep changing engine.. hehe.... 7a is not meant for hi rev, maximum is only 8k rpm, anything beyond that is juz rev, and no power... dangerous also, coz that engine is not meant for hi rev..
 
but when u race with VTEC u should rev high little ba...when i fit in LSD and i vs vtec ....i hold my rpm5500....but i rev till 9000....can win vtec....but i use my engine in STARLET EP71 2 door

If you have balance engine and use good bearings and bolts THEN go for cam and final drive.(Final drive 4.5 or maybe even 5.1)A bit punishing on LSD and shafts but the G-force damn shiok!!!
This should shift your powerband up and after 4k rpm the tacho needle will just fly to 10k rpm.!!

i really respect your courage, rev until 10k, but i got no money, cannot afford to keep changing engine.. hehe.... 7a is not meant for hi rev, maximum is only 8k rpm, anything beyond that is juz rev, and no power... dangerous also, coz that engine is not meant for hi rev..

STOCK 7a bottom with bt head..like you said not much point... but with the proper build it can be done.
All depends on the cam and fuel map.(Old TRD Tacho redlines 11K for the 16v)

7AGE is much more like 4AGE, after u done those major balancing and also racing bearing is not a problem for high rev, ofcoz don rev till 10k like 1238 did la..hahaha!!

So for NA increase compression and subsequently torque will increase power AND the other way is to increase USABLE RPM

this is something new to me... i never know that by increasing rev, the output will increase also.. coz to me, the power curve is more important, is power starts to drop at certain rpm, no point keep revving the engine to the max.... if 7a go very hi rev, reliability is a serious issue, 7afe is meant for economical purpose, and the original rev cut is at 6400 only, anything beyond that is not the air fuel or management issue, it is the mechanical issue, engine will tend to face fatigue after certain rev, causing power drop..
