heard bout the overheating SST but yours is a manual right?
so no problem....

Look similar to CVT cooler that i have in my GT.

All the options i saw is in the US, but the best by far is i think is the SSP (South Side Performance). OR u can swap for a new SST oil from Willall Racing Australia, it has cooling benefits and it can take extra 10% torque than the Diaqueen Oem lube.

Cheers!

I am on AMS SST Cooler, so far so good, tested at SIC...

i was thinking the same thing, ams or ssp, how much for the whole setup and how do you get it delivered? :D

I got it from SG and installed it here by Mitsu agent...

AMS SST Cooler advantages:
1) Direct replacement to stock unit
2) Built in ventilation fan

Nonetheless, SST cooler is only needed at track, stock cooler is good enough for street use

yah, thats what i tought, i only had the shutdown n slowdown msgs once during my eight months using the car. but if i decided on tracking n a new tune, might need the cooler. where did u install it?

i got this issue at Sepang after 2.5laps!
what other solution available there in our country?
AMS cooler kit sounds pretty reasonable..way cheaper than HKS cooler as well.

Just mount a big computer fan behind the oil cooler for tranny and no problems anymore. You can do additional air vents but it would mean that the hot air will go on your left front wheel.

It works for me since I posted the original problem, no need for expensive AMS oil cooler.

Cool!
May i know where you did that modification?
Am looking for a shop that have done it, so no need to guess and modify what fan to use..

thanks Andreas!
