can a silvertop 20v 4age, pod filter and exhaust system produce this kinda rpm climb??

hmmm lsd... sorry i didn't see the video properly... hehehehe... i'm just eyeing on the rpm climb

Edit: Coz earlier video was referring to MR2 with BT.

As for SVT to get such RPM climb, need to get ligthen flywheel and extractors. For sure it has rev cut removed there and prolly aftermarket cams.

Btw, how do you tell if it has LSD gearbox by just looking at the meterbox?

waoh.. no rpm cut .. geng .. just add a 12k rpm meter outsite.. c c can reach 11k rpm or not ma.. hahahahah

Well, he prolly forgot to mention that he had the rev cut removed plus some extra goodies. Afterall, its Youtube =)

hmmm... i know about rev cut... the thing i hairan is, the rapid climb of his rpm. why i cant have to rapid climb of the rpm? hahahaha... :_:

hmm...hi cams, aftermarket ECU, g/b ratio....flywheels...cam pulleys

i think he had some of it or mebbe all of it mentioned above~

his RPM is high..but his speed=rpm is more to pick up babe a.k.a short ratios

Hmm...i think it has the racing clutch as well...didn't see that it slip after changing gear...

lsd...15-13sec remaining...the sound from wheel something like jerking..but its lsd...

as i know la...

I think if you remove the rpm cut, you're gonna kill your engine faster as well:angel_smile:. Don't you think the Japs installed the rpm cut for a reason ?

The other thing is, if you've dyno your stock engine before, you'll know that it doesn't always mean higher revs = higher output. Refer to the dyno chart & you'll know what I'm talking about.

Unless mods / upgrades are done, there're no reason to rev your engine till the redline for gear changes. Refer to your engine spec charts for peak power vs rpm. It's way before your redline or rpm cut.

Just my 2 cents.

Buy the TOMS ECU... there a forummer selling... Last time i used it in the track rev until RPM9300.. .. forgot the changed gear... Hahahahaha.. Stock standard.. Luckily the engine no kaboom...

something like eliminating the rev cut is dangerous....
since stock standard engine's ps is usually in the rev cut region....

haha... nyah!! :D 10k can go... 4age20v... there is a reason to make it that hard rev ones.. RITE katopunk!! some H fellas follow to fast and too LOUD behind right :D hahahah!!

but if beyond 10k tu.. like 11k... hahah!! dunno lee.... the cooling system also can withstand that much of heats r? spring balbalablabla bibib.... that is a stories of a track car already...

hahaha yea yea street use car no need to to rev till 10k or 11k la....
dunno need to spend how much to get such a high rev.... all thing also need to upgrade, upgrade this ($$$) + that ($$$) = "pok kai" hehehe....

people who does this kinda modification usually have pockets that are really deep....
deeper than the deep sea....hehehe

yes, i have to agree with rusty. not all cars have to rev till rev cut to have max power. it all depends on the dyno chart curve. my max torque is at 6.5k rpm. but i agak my max hp is above the rev cut.

i don't have the plan to rev till 10k or 11k... from the youtube video. i know that bugger rev till 9k. it doesn't really matters to me. i don't want my 20v to kaboom... :X-:

the thing i hairan is the "rapid climb of the rpm". i mean the rpm goes up very fast. which i would like to have... hehehehe...

if u wan ur rpm can be like utube goes up fast, then u will need to lighten ur engine......

Well, who knows if it's running on laughing gas (NOS), right ? Nowadays it's quite common.
