I have the R3 manifold on my proton bit looking to upgrade to a full system where can I get one in UK or is there anyone willing to ship from Malaysia?

have u tried yr proton dealer since its original r3 parts?

if not then maybe speedworks can ship their hotbits part to your country.
 
What are good engine modifications for the 1.3? Mine currently has cams ported and polished head r3 manifold and induction kit

No replacement for displacement. How much can you extract from 1.3L, unless forced induction....:driver:
 
I like getting as much as possible from a small engine it gives me a lot more enjoyment, as well as insurance being an issue at my age

If you can source Proton CPS 1.6 (77mm) pistons that would help with the displacement part. Will have quite a big difference.

get the stage 1 r3 cmashaft....
i believe it was direct fit to 1.3 since the campro still use similar heads (non-CPS head) i think?
 
Does the 1.6 engine fit on the 1.3 gearbox? And what else is different?

i believe the gb housing is the same just that they are using different ratio 1.3 vs 1.6.
like bro pomen gtr mentioned,if the head is similar then getting the r3 performance part is a good step.

if your budget permit then i have seen on the net someone using mix and match part from the campro family and then put on bot.his basic is campro block,head is from cfe engine variant (dont ask me how he fit it),add turbo.or course its very complicatedand cost quite high.from his claim the car produces 160hp++ from 1600 displacement.

fyi,if you change the stroker to 1.6 then there are no way anyone can know the mod by just looking at the engine.
you are not just getting a bit more power but the main thing improve is the driveability. consider this as a sleeper mod.

Need to be specific. 4G18 or S4PH Campro 1.6?

I don't think the S4PH will pair with the 1.3 GB from a 4G13. Generally the 4G13 has a shorter gear ratio compared to 4G18 GB so yes it'll pair up with the 4Gx engines but you might have top speed issues if you're looking to go fast. Pickup will be great though.

satria neo 1.3 is using S4PE, 1.6 S4PH and none of the satria neo is using 4g series out from factory.
1.3 GB from satria neo is always refer as the best by satria neo enthusiast and it fits well in 1.3...

aside to UKproton

have u got cams regrind? or else maybe u cant try to fit those cams like from R3...

as for exhaust, what exactly u looking for? shipping to UK is not cheap considering our RM is very weak...
