The teasers don’t stop pouring in for this baby Lamborghini, as a few weeks ago, we posted a picture tease of the upcoming Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 Super Trofeo. And this time around, Lamborghini teases us with another teaser, this time, with a video!
Actual launch for the Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 Super Trofeo race car is slated to be on 15 August 2014, at the The Quail in Monterey, California. That would also mean that the Huracán LP610-4 Super Trofeo’s official specifications will be made known then. What we can gather is that the race car will be powered by the same, albeit much revamped version of the 5.2L V10 of the street Huracán. Power is also likely to exceed 610hp. Other than that, expect the Huracán Super Trofeo, much like the Gallardo before it, to have a stripped interior, all round roll cage, and also all wheel drive. The Huracán Super Trofeo will feature a front carbon-fibre splitter, an oversized rear spoiler and slick tires paired with racing rims.
Expect the Huracán Super Trofeo to start competing in the Blancpain Super Trofeo series from 2015 onwards, and will likely be competing alongside the Gallardo Super Trofeo. It isn’t mandatory for teams competing in the Blancpain Super Trofeo series to buy the Huracán Super Trofeo.
