Team FX Primus Aylezo JH Italia Carrying the Malaysian Flag for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia 2013!

Working in collaboration with Eminent Century Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s official Lamborghini importer alongside the sole dealer JH Italia, the new Team FX Primus Aylezo JH Italia was unveiled at Sepang International Circuit, ready to take on the challenge posed by the upcoming Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia Series 2013.

The monomarque race has been running for five years in Europe, and it is well-known in being the suitable platform for drivers, either individually or in teams of two, to compete in the refined Lamborghini Super Trofeo race car in a race dubbed as the “Fastest One-Make Series in the World”. Also unveiled during this launch were the driver line-up and the car they will be racing in.

Getting behind the wheels of the vicious Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 later in the race are two new drivers; 24-year veteran Sri Lankan Dilantha Malagamuwa and our own Zen Low who has had numerous wins under his belt. Joining in the lineup is the Chief Operating Officer of Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur Marcus Chye, where he will be acting as the driver in reserve for the series.

“I have been racing karts, formula cars and sports cars for many years. However, to be representing Malaysia in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia Series in 2013 is really an honour. A big thank-you must go out to our sponsors FX Primus, Ninetology, Fuchs, Titan, Ecotint, Zerotohundred, Motorsport Playground and Tactix”, said team principal and driver Zen Low.

“Our participation in the second Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia 2013 is an amazing milestone and we are pleased to be working with Zen and his company Aylezo Motorsports”, added Marcus Chye.

Although the new 2013 Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo is still being based on the chassis and mechanical platform of its predecessor, the new aerodynamic upgrades gives the car a giant leap ahead in shaving off the lap times. With 120% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency over the 2012 model, the new car also gets a 50% improvement in thermal performance through the re-modeled brake ducts that cool down the front brakes.

The 2013 Super Trofeo Asia Series will be circling Asia starting from Shanghai, Sepang, Korea, Fuji, Shanghai again and Macau. The Grand Finale will see the top teams battling it out in November at Vallelunga, Italy.
