“A masterful blend of art, technology, craftsmanship and pure adrenalin” is what Aston Martin is trying to send the message across as they blend together the chassis, carbon fibre panels, their iconic V12 engine and several of their customizable options.
Having begun deliveries to the United Kingdom and some parts of Europe towards the end of 2012, the 25% stiffer Aston that’s clad in carbon fibre panels and received some design cues from the One-77.
The AM 310 has a 6.0L V12 lying under the hood that’s very much ready to pounce on its prey at 100kmh in just 4.1s before reaching a Vmax of 295kmh with its 573bhp and 620Nm of torque via a 6-speed Touchtronic 2 gearbox.
To describe the AM 310 was Aston Martin’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ulrich Bez who said, “This is the latest incarnation of everything we know, informed and developed from One-77. It is the ultimate Super Grand Tourer – confident and assured – and is the newest representation of Power, Beauty and Soul.”
