Propelled by AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and tuned to produce even more power, all 577hp and 700Nm of torque. These figures are then transferred to the tarmac via seven-speed dual clutch transmission, catapulting the GT R dead from zerotohundred at 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 320 km/h.

Folks, this's the Merc AMG GT R. Not the GT-R we are familliar with and this one comes without the hyphen.

The fierce front fascia of the GT R is slightly different from the base model, the grille is now taken from the track-oriented AMG GT3 with vertical bars and has wider front and rear fenders.

You can now notice the rear of the car has double diffusers and features central-mounted exhaust. Another aspect that dominates the back of the car is a daring rear spoiler, which is more aggressive than the one on GT S.

Mercedes named the colour "AMG green hell magno"; the GT R surely looks and feels at home at The Green Hell.

The already great Mercedes-AMG GT S has impressed many drivers with its capabilities, and now to have Mercedes refine the car further, it is pretty hard to imagine just how much more the GT R could offer.
