The Ferrari 488 GTB spells a new era for the Prancing Horse as it is one of the first few that revisits the turbocharged touch by the manufacturer. Already blessed with a healthy 670-horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque, the 488 GTB can go from zerotohundred in 3 seconds flat and has a top speed of more than 330 km/h.
To the common man, that kind of performance is more than enough for one to have fun with but to xXx Performance, there I always room to improve. Being one of the firsts to take a jab in upgrading the 488 GTB, xXx Performance has created a Stage 1 kit that raises the output to 750PS and 613 lb-ft of torque.
It is then followed by a stage 2 program that bumps up the power to 850PS and 687 lb-ft of torque and if that does not satisfy you, they are offering the stage 3 package which will unleash more than 1,000PS and a massive 923 lb-ft of torque. All these massive power upgrades are possible through a remapped ECU, custom intake, and a new sport exhaust system.
xXx Performance has also given the 488 GTB a new look with a carbon fiber front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, mirrors, and vents next to the taillights. The side turn signals, taillights, and rear fog lights have been given the black tint treatment.
The wheels are now 21-inch Vossen VPS-315T wrapped in 245/30 ZR21 front and 325/35 ZR21 rear tires. The car now sits 35mm lower thanks to a new set of springs and a hydraulic lift system is installed to increase ground clearance when necessary.
