If the new supercars making their debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show does not amuse you, then this might just be the one you are looking for. After unveiling the NSX earlier this year, Honda will finally be taking the covers off their new Civic Type R at Geneva and before that happens, they recently shared a couple of teaser images showing how this turbocharged machine will look like.

Of course, these teaser images might not even come close in revealing the outlook of the new Type R, but at least it will give us hints of the finer details of this upcoming hot hatch.  The styling on the front end seems to be a little bit different than what we have seen on the concept where it has slightly smaller corner air-inlets and received round fog lights.

The 19-inch rims also come in a different design, but it still retains the black overall with red accent ring, which matches perfectly with the red Brembo brake four-pot caliper with cross drilled discs hiding behind it. A closer look reveals that the Civic Type R will come with low profile Continental performance tires.

Finally, a clear image of the instrument panel with a bright red background gives us the assurance of something promising. Aside from the 7,000rpm redline, we are particularly interested with the R+ button peeking on the left hand side corner.
