Is This Ayrton Senna’s Personal NSX for sale on eBay?

eBay hold lots of interesting finds if you linger around and keep your eyes peeled for any special stuffs that might surface. And ‘special’ is definitely an understatement for what had recently emerged on the site as there is now someone in UK putting a black Honda NSX for sale which apparently was owned by the late F1 legend Ayrton Senna.

Sounds too good to be true? Maybe; but the description provided by the seller does sound legit enough to suggest that this is one of the speed machines that the Brazilian driver once owned and participated in the car’s research and development.

The current owner claims that the black Honda NSX that he owns is one of Ayrton Senna’s two NSXs (the other in red) which he managed to get a grasp on while he was residing in Portugal. This particular unit was kept at a palace in Sintra, near to the Estoril track, while the red one is kept at Senna’s villa in Quinta do Lago.

Bearing the chassis number no.000999, this particular NSX was given to Senna by his mentor and sponsor Antonio de Almeida Braga. The current owner also added that he hardly used the car in his 17 years of ownership, and the car only displays a mileage of 49,890 km. The car is kept in its original form, which still has the same “carpets used by Senna, the last time he drove it, inclusive of his foot print”.
