The 2013 SmartForTwo Returns – Tougher and More Agile!

What usually happens when you place an object weighing 3.5 tonnes atop a roof of a vehicle? Instant convertible conversion could be the answer, but not for the 2013 SmartForTwo that’s experiencing phenomenal sales at the moment in the US with sales figures on the rise for the 10th consecutive month.

This has prompted Smart’s marketing team to come up with three interesting 15s clips that showcases the uniqueness about the 2013 SmartForTwo and the first showcases how tough the chassis of this bite-sized ultra compact vehicle with 4 wheels is.

The other two clips, however, doesn’t follow suit in terms of toughness, but go along the lines to indicate that this SmartForTwo gets heaps more fun dialed into it – showcasing its new driving experience as it zips around in a covered car-park, only upon it’s exit, the driver makes a quick u-turn, pays a fee at the entrance and goes at it again, effectively turning the car park into his personal obstacle course.

The last clip depicts the SmartForTwo’s customisable external colours when an elderly supermarket manager turns on his speaker system to make an announcement that a certain SmartForTwo in the parking lot has it’s headlights switched on. As the manager begins to describe the looks of the car, it becomes greatly apparent as to which supermarket shopper the car belongs to.

Though it may be unlikely that SMART here in Malaysia would be able to offer us the same ability to choose our own colours and designs to drape it with, but it is undoubtedly a notion worth exploring with the min.
