Two days ago, a member of Zpost bimmer forum scooped the next generation BMW Z4. It was photographed without any camouflage at a BMW dealer during filming of an upcoming Michael Douglas film called “Solitary Man”.
From the first picture (above), it’s obvious that the upcoming Z4 has lost much of its Bangle lines and sports clearer and sharper lines than the current Z4. The 2010 Z4 will also come with a two-piece retractable hardtop (not visible in the photo) and this eliminates the need for a fixed-roof coupe in the car’s future lineup.
Today, two days later, another image made it to the internet (main picture), this one has the Z4 showing off its arse. After the first picture that was shot using a camera phone, this image appears to be a scanned image from the official brochure. Unlike the first image, the retractable hardtop is clearly visible as is the car’s new tail lights. Expect more leaked images ahead of the cars official debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
